DAY 18 - YOUR STORY IS A WEAPON
THE WORD
"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."—Revelation 12:11
THE BURDEN
The enemy is defeated by two things working together—the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. You need both. The Gospel is the power, but your story is the delivery system. And the enemy has worked overtime to convince you that your story isn't worth telling. But it is.
And all testimonies are the same: I was…but God…and now…
You don't need a dramatic before and after. You don't need to have come from the deepest pit to have a testimony worth sharing. What you need is honesty about where you were without Christ and clarity about what He has done in you. That combination—spoken out loud to another person—is a weapon that hell cannot defend against.
Your story also does something that a theological argument cannot, because it is undeniable. Nobody can debate what Jesus has done in your life. Nobody can argue with a changed heart, a restored marriage, a delivered mind, or a life that simply makes no sense apart from the grace of God. When you open your mouth and say, "This is what He did for me,"—you are wielding something the enemy fears.
The person you are praying for needs to hear your story. Not a polished version—the real one.
THE PRAYER
Lord, give me the courage to share what You have done in my life. Let my testimony be a weapon against the darkness surrounding the person I am praying for. Remind me today that my story is evidence of Your grace and exactly what someone needs to hear. In Jesus' name, Amen.
The name I am praying for:
FOR YOUR PRAYER PARTNER
Take five minutes and share your testimony with your prayer partner—not the cleaned-up version, the real one. Use ‘I was…but God…and now…’ as your framework. Then pray together that God would open a door this week for you to share it with the person you are praying for.
