Day 1 - Call to Him

What a privilege we have that the God of the universe beckons us to call to Him. There is a tendency to want others to notice us or to network with others so that we find personal meaning. However, God not only wants our attention but promises that when we call upon Him that He will answer and speak to us about things which we do not know. This means that our Lord wants to communicate with us and share with us things which can only be received through prayer. Often, we look to friends, family, or acquaintances to fulfill us when we should first be looking to the Lord. What are the things you have been seeking? Where is wisdom needed in your life? Where do you need help at this time? How can you grow more in your faith with God? The answer is simple: Call to Him. Prayer Prompt Today as you pray, will you consider calling on the Lord for your greatest need? Will you pray for an area of your life that needs wisdom? Will you ask the Lord to provide insight into areas where you may be missing the mark?
