Day 19 - "With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit"

As we spend our lives with our focus on Jesus Christ, one way that we can pray is for God to open up doors so that we will have opportunities to share the Gospel. Not only do we need the Lord to open up doors for us, but we also need Him to help us in being bold so that we will have the courage to share the Good News when the circumstance presents itself. One way to become more aware of opportunities for sharing the Gospel is to pray that God would provide them. When we pray in this way, our minds begin to consider how the Lord will answer this prayer, and while we are waiting for the Lord to direct our conversations, we are asking the Lord to give us courage. Few things will grow a believer more than praying for evangelistic opportunities and having the faith to act when the situation presents itself.

Prayer Prompt:

Today as you pray, will ask the Lord to give you an opportunity to share your faith? Also, will you pray for the

awareness of when that is happening? And finally, will you pray for the courage to boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
