Have you been going through a time where you have trusted the Lord and still not experienced the outcome for which you have trusted? That’s not uncommon. The reality is, the bigger steps of faith you take, the more trust is required. Sometimes we falsely believe that faith gets easier as we grow with the Lord; however, God continues to stretch our faith so that each new step of faith we take is in some ways more difficult than the last one. Mark it down…the greatest step of faith you will ever take is the next one. The good news is that we need not fear because we are told we can expect to see God’s goodness right here presently where we are living. Therefore, trust God, pray, and expect to see His goodness in your life.

Prayer Prompt:

Today as you pray, will you confess that you have experienced despair because you have tried to remain in control? Will you ask the Lord to remind you that He is in control of all your circumstances? Will you ask the Lord to give you the faith to believe that you are going to experience His goodness?
