Day 2 - Drawing Close

Drawing close to God is a choice that we can continue to make throughout the day. How much do you desire the Lord to be involved in your life? Instead of living independently, God invites us to draw near to Him and promises that when we do, He will draw near to us. The choice is yours. What circumstances and situations are you experiencing right now where the Lord could be of help? How hungry are you for more of the Lord’s goodness? Taking the time to seek the Lord and grow close to Him is a choice that will bring great joy and hope. Prayer Prompt Today as you pray, will you tell you Lord about several ways you recognize you are depending on Him? Will you ask Him to remind you of ways you have forgotten His grace and goodness in your life? Will you thank God for the fact that, as you draw closer to Him today, He will draw closer to you?
