Day 6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him

If we desire to please the Lord, we must trust Him in the ways in which He leads us. This means that we need to actively take a step of faith because of our love for God. Trusting God comes in a variety of ways in a variety of different seasons, but always requires courage and faith that the Lord will be true to His Word. Sometimes taking a step of faith could require a move, transition, forgiveness, honesty, transparency, silence, investment, anonymity, discomfort, patience, suffering, uncertainty, and, oftentimes, misunderstanding. Therefore, we need to seek His face, trust what He shows us through His Word, and then act obediently. This pleases the Lord and allows us to experience God’s greatest rewards. Prayer Prompt Today as you pray, will you ask the Lord to show you where you have been lacking faith? Will you ask the Lord to show you how to take your next step of faith? Will you ask Him for the courage to be obedient to what He shows you?
