Day 11 - Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

In a world where fatigue and frustration are pervasive, the Lord calls us to Himself. The cure for this busy cycle of madness requires that we stop living independently of the Lord and rather come to Him. He desires for us to posture ourselves in humility as we welcome Him into all areas of our life. Instead of continuing to strive and press, we look to Jesus Christ and make Him the priority in our lives. This provides what so many pursue and, yet, so few find: Rest! If you are looking for rest in the middle of your circumstances today, then pursue Jesus Christ and you will find the deep rest that your soul is craving.

Today as you pray, will you ask the Lord to give you rest? Will you authentically share with the Lord all your burdens? Will you trust the Lord today to carry these burdens for you?
